A substantial portion of the “savings” announced by Musk turn out to be bogus upon examination. Doesn’t matter. At this point, people so inclined will believe whatever they are told without examination of the validity or consequences.
For example, Doge listed a savings in one instance of 8 billion which turned out to be 8 million. Not too efficient.
