Do we have anyone with decent size coming in for next year. For as long as I can remember we are an undersized team? Has Bobby and Co. gone out and found us any help in that respect?

big phil is 6’10 - does that count?
Well Phil, assuming he is eligible is 6’10.5" Gaby Ngoundjo is 6’7, but has a 7’3 wingspan so he’ll play taller than he really is, Wilderness is 6’6, Barnett is 6’5, and we also supposedly have a good chance at landing Lamont Mack who is (I believe) 6’8 or 9.
Am I correct that your wingspan is suposed to be approximately the length of your heigth? I could look this up, but lets be honest, its saturday, and im lazy.
Mack is listed at 6’7

Yeah, thats true. But some people have longer arms, some have shorter.

and we have been blessed with one who has longer.

David West is an example. Gaby like wingspan but shorter.

David West, if Gaby turns out to be 1/10 of the player he is/was I will be happy.

Gaby is supposed to be similar to Jason Maxiel in size/length. Reach is what’s most important since you don’t rebound with the top of your head. Toes to fingertips.

If he is anything like Maxiel, we’ll have a diamond in the rough. What makes this better, is that he’s a 4 yr guy, that can rebound and block shots. We will have sometime to develop his offensive skills. If he can consistently hit a 15 ft jumper, he will be solid.
i cant help but be excited about next year
I haven’t seen next years schedule, but I am predicting a solid 12-17 season.

I excited about seeing what we may have in the future, but I’m not excited about what I think our record will be. I’m thinking we’ll get 10-15 wins.

I think thats more why i am excited - but at the same time i cant help but try to be optomistic and think that we have a chance at being a decent team in the conference. I know that isnt saying much, but its better than this year…
i hate people who try and predict the future. last time i checked none of us were God. So we obviously don’t know how next years team will do. So why worry. On paper we are going to be a young team. But young teams have come together and played well before. So honestly i don’t know what to expect.
yeah and you have never done that on here before right?

i’ll admit i have but since the beasley situation i haven’t.

AGAIN…WOULD WE EXPECT ANYTHING LESS FROM YOU?
AT LEAST WE HAVE A GOOD YOUNG NUCLEOUS OF PLAYERS TO WORK WITH, WHO CAN HOPEFULLY PLAY SOME DEFENSE…THAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WINNING AND LOSING THIS YEAR…PURE AND SIMPLE.
