Stay tuned for NinerPride.net… We have the beginnings of the website but will be advancing this website to be a powerhouse in the ninernation community.
And the purpose of this is??? Why would we want to fragment our fan base with two sites?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ haha
I, for one, am excited about the potential for a NinerNation.net vs. NinerPride.net show down.
The possibilities are endless.
Our fanbase fragmented! Lives torn apart!
Dozens affected!!!
I can’t post recruiting info at both sites!!!

Ha ha, beautiful!
all bigtime athletic programs have a couple boards…
I don’t think Mac has the time or interest anymore to keep NNN top notch. He’s done it a long time. This new NNN is dreadful IMHO and why the traffic is a fraction of what it was and could be.

HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!
We really need some folks to step up and help mac with this site, especially if he’s really busy.
If it’s money we need, tell us how much and ask for it.
And while metro’s right about having two boards for “major” programs, I don’t think we’re there yet, and the A-10 forum is slowly becoming that “second” board for many Niners.

I agree with this 100%. We need to do what ever we can to help NNN achieve it’s destiny. Having a second Niner board at this point in our growth is counter productive. If Mac does decide to let NNN go then someone or a group of us need to take up this site not create a competitor. If Mac decides it is time to go we need to create a non-profit and a team to help this site continue.
Mac just needs to tell us what he needs/wants.
As an owner and operator of several real websites, I can tell you that people always underestimate the dedication and time it takes to keep a site like this up. Most people with limited knowledge about running a site think you can just sign up at Godaddy, download some free software and just sit back and let the visitors roll in. There is fierce competition in the “real” online world. Very smart people make a lot of money. Amateurs just spend lots of money on hosting and catchy domain names only to realize they don’t have the skills or time to make it work.
NinerPride.net will just be another one…an empty site with little potential (no offense)

Only one site needed and is best. We need that one site to be the best it can be. 2 sites is dumb imo.
Why go after Niner info in 2 places when you could find it in 1? make sense?

I didn’t say NN.N was that 1 site. I don’t care which site… but we need 1 site and the best site.
I was hoping gSpot would wait until posting it, but o well.
The site is a bit raw at the moment but I have big plans for it with some cool features I think fans will love.
I love NNN and this is not meant to try and upstage the original niner community, just another option where people can talk about charlotte.
For everyone that signs up, I will be sure to send out an email updating you guys when I roll out the new theme and other goodies.
go niners.

I’m actually a web developer by profession and I know full well what it takes to run a site like this. I am surely not taking the “set it and forget it” route with this site.
if they bring in an arcade and graffiti wall i’m there.
