Niners @ ECU pregame in Greenville

I’d actually like to go to this game but having to be in Greenville twice already in the months of November and December; that’s just way too much to add a third trip. #badfan

lol. It’ll be my son’s first Niner game. His cousin, also 3, will be at the game decked out in purple.
First time I met you we lost at Richmond. First time I met cpip we lost go G-W. Every time I see a road game with 2k we lose. I think all these negatives will finally cancel each other out and we’ll repair the damage that has been done to the force.
I used to think I brought bad luck but now I’ve realised we’ve just sucked for a while now. I’ve yet to witness a Niner win at Richmond. I know we won that one time but I missed that game. Sucks to only be able to see one game per season only to see us lose. Really really really sucks.

I dunno - being forced to watch us lose once in person might be better than watching us loser over and over and over to crappy teams at home in person. You might have the right idea not being in Charlotte.

It’s easy to grow apathetic living out of town though so to get one chance to get revved up to see us live is cool even when we suck. Since I left CLT, I’ve seen in person maybe one Niner win and I can’t remember who that was. Maybe Southern Miss in Eddie’s last game? Last game I drove down for was the homecoming X game we lost. Blah, still getting hyped for the ECU game. I want my kid to see that Normbulance!! lol

Just heard that our old friend Dave Jageler is the play-by-play guy on the MASN broadcast. It’ll be cool to see Dave again. He may have been on of the best homer announcers ever…

I guess he’s not in Boston anymore?

Dave has been with the Washington Nationals for five years.

Jageler spent six years in Charlotte as the voice of UNC-Charlotte basketball and co-hosting a morning drive talk show.

Jags may have been a homer, but he knows basketball and has a great radio voice.

He must still be well connected to the program though because he’ll occasionally hop on here and deliver insights. Wish he was around more, but I guess Charlotte basketball isn’t much to talk about these days.

You truly missed out- he was a great announcer. We all knew he was bound for bigger things. Love that guy…

Got an email today saying there is a viewing party at Wild Wings. Look for me on TV. I’ll be the one wearing green.

You’re going without us? Commie bastard.

Hopefully a lot more than just him.

Myself and NLP are riding down with Gill. Quite a few people riding down with NWA in the Normbulance.

Does anyone know if Time Warner will show the MASN game in Charlotte? Sometimes they will show it on channel 520 but it is not currently listed. I made the mistake of switching from Direct TV to Time Warner several years ago. I got all the MASN games in Direct TV ::slight_smile:

I’ll be the one being dragged out by the cops after crucifying Lebo.

We gotta do some kind of Lebo chant.

ā€œWe want Leboā€
