Not exactly a well researched story. We have used Juco’s a ton since Mullins was coach. That and the info on Bennet was off, said he was a key member of the team and that he used up his eligibility last season.
Courtney Williams is 6’9, not 6’5
Martin Iti is nowhere close to 7’1!
And Antwon Coleman a wing player!? LOL
Other than errors like that, I enjoyed reading the article. Good to get some pub in other cities in the state like that.

I’m shocked that the Journal said anything about us. I will have to pick up a copy to see what page we made it on. They focus so much on the Tarholes, you’d think that they were in Chapel Hill. But at least we get press, and by the end of the year, everyone will know who Charlotte is.
Yeah this is a pretty rare story in the Journal about us. I wrote an e-mail last season to them about calling us Charlotte instead of UNCC. I think Powerbait is friends with the one of the reporters at the Winston-Salem Journal. I could be wrong on that.

Too bad the style they have is one of ignorance. I think that they should refer to Chapel Hill as UNC Chapel Hill if they must refer to us as UNC Charlotte. They use UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, etc. so why not keep the same “style” instead of referring to them as UNC, Carolina, etc.?

Someone email him and ask why they aren’t referred to as UNC-Chapel Hill, with the hyphen, since that is how the UNC General Administration words it.
