The Bethesda Big Train defeated the Maryland Orioles 3-2 in the Cal Ripken Sr. League. Jimmy Saris (Georgetown) was the winning pitcher last night. Saris gave up 1 run on 1 hit in 5 innings of work. Chance Harst (Southern Mississippi) went 1 for 3 with a triple for the Big Train. Bryan Hamilton (UNC-Charlotte) pitched well in relief for the Orioles. Hamilton pitched 3 innings, and gave up 1 run, while striking out 5.
