Noel Johnson Class of 2009

Article from AJC and quotes from his coach as of last week.

Looks like some people on here are going to drive themselves apesh!t until we hear something from this guy.

The only sites I have seen say that LSU and GT are the frontrunners are LSU and GT messageboards. Of course our messageboard, UNLV, and Wichita state’s message boards all say the same thing too. Nobody knows where this kid will go.

in harris we trust!

He visited us, he is visiting UNLV. Nobody on LSU or GA Tech’s forums have any dates on him visiting there. The only thing pointing his way to Tech is Rival’s ā€œspeculationā€ which is dated from before his visit here. If we see him visit either of those two schools we are probably in trouble, but if not I think we have a really good chance.

seeing as how many articles seem to have lsu and georgia tech in front, do you still feel confident about our chances of landing him? just a question.

i wasent asking you sarcastically but it makes me feel better when this type of information comes from a reliable source. im not going to ask who the source is but how confident are they? when do they expect a decision from him or when does he have to make a decision?

Hopefully he’s terrible at the line, takes 15 three’s a game average and plays absolutely no D, otherwise he would be a terrible fit.

SEC arrogance at its finest

LSU hoops have done one thing the past 50 years. Shaq.

Last Final Four for LSU was 2006, I'd say that's one thing they've done other than Shaq.

The arrogance is still noticeable, regardless.

got me there

Well, duh.

But I think the emphasis was on recent history. hence my reference to 2006.

If any of our players ever puts up 44 ppg they can call themselves Rocketship Spaceman for all I care.

screw that, I don’t care if they score 100ppg, they can’ steal my name.

Scout has Charlotte and UNLV at high interest. Everyone else is at no interest. Everything you read says something different. Who knows how this is going to end up.
