According to Doyel, he picked us 2nd in the conference when he wrote the C-USA entry for Lindy’s.

As I recall from writing the magazine’s Conference USA preview story back in June, I picked Memphis third or fourth in the league (behind Louisville, Charlotte and maybe Cincinnati), but Lindy’s staff had rated Memphis No. 35 nationally – behind four other Conference USA teams.

Can there be any doubt what the Lindy’s editors’ agenda is then? They took us from Doyel’s #2 ranking down to not worth mentioning.

I really didn’t realize how bad their slight was until I red that press release from the league office based on Lindy’s. We aren’t mentioned ANYWHERE in it. Not even Curtis. Ridiculous.
