I can’t check this video, and it looks like they took the original down, damnit.
Dirty Projectors - I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine
Great for a rainy day.
Prayers and Tears of Arthur Digsby Sellars. If you like indie rock, you’d love this guy.
The supergroup of the frontmen from Dawes, Deer Tick and Delta Spirit releases its first album.

o man that sounds awesome…love Deer Tick.
Like Monsters of Folk, you can tell who wrote each song.
I’m still a Matt Vasquez guy. The other songs are good, but his are the best.
Also, on that same link, scroll over and listen to this… which I’m enjoying quite a bit:
I really like this new Devotchka record so far, quite a bit. Id been off their bandwagon but this is promising.

Oh wow! Not sure how I missed this. I love all 3 of these bands, especially Dawes. Very nice!
That song is good. Reminds me a lot of the Black Crows.
Heard these guys on NPR’s “Fresh Air” last week…
Link: Dolorean.
Title track from their new album, “The Unfazed,” is pretty good.
Along with having a freaking awesome name, Fatso Jetson is some good solid rock without any emo or screamo bs. The singer has a unique voice some might not like, but I think it is pretty cool. Maybe just an acquired taste.
If you like these guys or at least just the guitar work, you’ll like the other Desert Rock out there. I LOVE Desert Rock.
Trying to decide if I like this:

or this:

I think I kinda like both.
way too mainstream for my taste.

Funk/jam/rock band from Greensboro, check them out if you’re into that kinda music. These guys do a lot of touring up and down the east coast. They are playing a festival in Florida this weekend along with the Avett Brothers and others.

I’ve seen them a few times Groverfest and at the double door. GREAT band!

Yes they are a great band. I talk with their lead singer/guitar player pretty often, nice group of guys also. These guys are gaining fans left and right now. They have definitely outgrown the double door now.
The Tallest Man on Earth.
He’s a Swedish singer/songwriter. His lyrics are dark and tinged with humor. Although it’s just him and an accoustic guitar, the sound is rich and full.
Chop - tell me he doesnt sound like Dylan… that’s been the take on him for a while now.
