Thanks Mike and Jim!

I love how the SC papers are saying Clemson is “aching”

http://www.heraldonline.com/news/sports/college/basketball/story/283836.html

the only thing aching last night was orange egos

this one is pretty good
After trailing by as many as 12 early in the second half, Clemson did manage to make it close.
:lmao:

As evidenced by the game intensity and the tremendous crowd following of both teams, this is a series that should be played every season. Period. Observations | JIM UTTER

Lutz from the same article:
On a given night, because we can shoot the 3 and have some depth, we can beat anybody.
Only Jim’s game story gives us any credit. Apparently, a local Y team could have beaten Clemson last night, because the Tigers suddenly forgot how to play basketball. We had nothing to do with that.

That was what I was trying to explain to Mike in the Today’s Tigers-49ers news
thread. Sad to see I was right.

You have to remember their audience. They’re writing from a Clemson perspective, and we’re writing from a Charlotte perspective. Just as you expect us to cater to you, the readers of those newspapers expect them to cater to Clemson points of view.

Still think Mike should’ve gone with the “Niners lynch Tigers” headline.

You want ME suspended for two weeks? No thanks.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Charlotte shot 48.3 percent, tops by a Tigers opponent this season.

Greenville photo

In the photo description, it kept saying “Clemson’s Trevor Booker (35) is fouled by Charlotte’s David Potter (15)”

Seriously, wtf, do they not know Harry Potter is THEIR player???

CHevEE, you need to check your link. The Washington Post and the Washington Times are NOT the same newspaper. Not even close!

Thanks Mike.

Alot of photos from the greenville article.

Some of those 92 photos are like a stop-motion movie. I especially like the 3 or 4 with the caption “Clemson’s Demontez Stitt (2) drives past Charlotte’s Dijuan Harris (3)” followed immediately by Harris with the ball and the caption “Charlotte’s Dijuan Harris (3) keeps the ball from Clemson’s Demontez Stitt (2) after stealing the ball”. Guess he didn’t exactly drive past him…

Also noticed there was no caption when Rivers was absolutely mugging Gaby…

“Going into the game our coaches were saying they would kick our butt because we were mentally soft against North Carolina,” Booker said. “And that’s what they did.”

HAHAHA IF THATS TRUE THEIR COACHES SHOULD BE FIRED
