Now seven straight losses. I didn’t think it could get this bad.
5-10 in the 18th best basketball conference. That’s hard to do.

Your point is still valid, but CUSA is not THAT bad. It’s bad, but not 18th bad. If us and UAB didn’t shit the bed after some pretty good wins, we’d probably be 11th or 12th as a conference. Not great, but not awful.

Relatively speaking, its not awful…but compared to where we’ve been since ~1990 (Metro, C-USA 1.0 and A10) it is pretty poor.
This is exciting!!
Another loss…another step closer!!!
I used to update the 2013-14 men’s basketball wiki page, but somehow I lost the motivation to continue…
2 errors in the 8th inning and a missed Penalty Kick cost us the game. We may need a miracle to win the tournament.
Best we’ve played in a long time. Happy we won. Interesting to see how we play at Marshall going into the CUSA tournament.
Somebody said the capacity crowd began chanting “4 more years” for Major as the clock got under a minute left…true??
Good game. Always had the lead. Players played well. And coaches coached well I guess I have to say.

Nice win with lots of positives. Only assures we won’t have a losing season record wise, though.
ODU mysteriously chose not to foul Clayton. I don’t think he had a free throw at all. Did hit one medium range jump shot today.
Lester made bonehead plays down the stretch which will cost in a closer game. Better to win than lose.

He said “See you next year”. How he knows where I live I don’t know.
It was a good game. Everyone played well, and I haven’t looked at the stats yet but it seemed to be a very complete game–scoring, rebounding, free throws–everything was on track.
I guess I get the idea of skipping the game as a protest, but you missed an enjoyable afternoon and probably the best game in Halton this year. The crowd sucked but that will be marked up to Spring Break and not your protest so I don’t think it accomplished much.
He did miss another dunk badly at the very end when the right play would have been to bring the ball back out and burn 35 more seconds. It was a Freshman decision.
They played well, with a lot of intensity on Defense!!
I would have to say a complete game. Hope to carry some momentum on to Huntington then to El Paso!!
Watched most of game. Odu is sloppier than we are. Didnt know possible.
Watched most of game. Odu is sloppier than we are. Didnt know possible.
This ODU team only won 5 games in the CAA last year.
They lost a few guys and Jeff Jones didn’t bring in any recruits. They’re still not good, but they’ve impressed me considering where they were last year and not adding any new guys to the team.
One of the most complete games we’ve played in CUSA. I’m glad I went. The overall defense could have been better but the rest of the game was solid. Great team effort. I hope we can win this week at Marshall and have some momentum going into El Paso.
If Thorne and Clayton can combine to shoot 13/17, 28 pts, 18 reb, and 2 turnovers… I like our chances to win. Throw in good nights by Bryan and Ingram (except for ingrams turnovers) I say we win.
Hopefully a complete game can also happen against better competition and lesser competition for that matter. Consistency is the issue with this team.
Coaches need to teach Clayton and Thorne blocking shots skills.
