I don’t think any of those are going to be on the playlist. Sorry Jimmyhate.

Fitty Cent - Lollipop

Glad you liked my suggestions, because if you came back with a snippy remark about how Coheed and Cambria was lame or something I would have been all, “Fuck you, I hope you have a miserable, sexless marriage that ends in divorce.” But since you liked some of my suggestions, I wish you happiness and success in your marriage and in life. And as a Jew, it is a law that I say, “MAZEL TOV!”

Jack Johnson - Do You Remember
Band of Horses - No One’s Gonna Love You
Appleseed Cast - A Dream for Us or Hello Dearest Love
Ben Harper - Forever or By My Side
Say Anything - Alive with the Glory of Love or Walk Through Hell
Damien Rice - The Blower’s Daughter
Foo Fighters - Everlong (acoustic version)
Jason Mraz - I’m Yours
Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
Mutemath - You Are Mine
Radiohead - True Love Waits
Ryan Adams - Wonderwall (Oasis cover)
Sufjan Stevens - For the Widows in Paradise or To Be Alone with You

I actually don’t know those Coheed songs, but I like the few songs of theirs I know.

First off, congrats PB

Secondly, God only Knows is a must have. Probably one of the best songs ever recorded.

I love both of those Coheed songs, but I’m not sure they are wedding material since they both talk about murdering people. Of course, you do have possum kingdom on your list so maybe you wont mind. BTW, I think its a law that if you are playing a Toadies song that you have to include Tyler. Love that song.

A few others…

I love Skinny Love by Bon Iver. Great song.

You could literally play about a quarter of the Beatles catalogue. I’m partial to Here, There and Everywhere. In My Life, Something In The Way, there are a ton you could go with here.

Lets Spend the Night Together or Under My Thumb by the Rolling Stones.

Cat Powers version of Sea of Love is terrific.

Fell in Love with a Girl by the White Stripes
Please be Patient with Me - Wilco
Together - Raconteurs
If You Need a Reason or If You Aint Got Love - Mason Jennings
Crown of Love- Arcade Fire
You Cant Fail Me Now - Loudon Wainwright

Thanks Cass!

Under My Thumb is great, but it is about dominating a woman. Which means I’m all for it, but some people might find it in poor taste. Let’s Spend the Night Together is one that is already on our playlist I think, just not listed here. We’re at like 200 songs right now.

Yeah, she wanted possum kingdom.

I’m sure it is blasphemy, but we’re not going to have any Beatles. I’m not a fan and she isn’t either.

I will check out those other songs.

If you’re going with those, I’d say First Date works pretty well, too. I Miss You also. Almost positive that’s a love song

I hate First Date and I Miss you is not a positive love song.

Holy shit! When I saw this thread I remembered that one, but no way did I think it was near 3 years ago. That’s nuts!

Here’s one you might go for:
What Is Life - George Harrison

What is Love (baby don’t hurt me)

Congrats on selling your soul… aim to do better then me, so 25 months is a good starting point.

If she cheats on me, I’ll just use it as an excuse to cheat freely.

What is your woman’s name?

PB, based on some of the other suggestions these may not be up your alley but IMO the list would be incomplete without these two songs from the one and only Otis Redding.
