Ole Miss game funds Presbyterian stadium lights

Ole Miss is the third of three FBS games Presbyterian scheduled this season. Northern Illinois and North Carolina State already beat the Blue Hose by a combined 97-3, but the combined paychecks from all three of those games (Ole Miss is paying the school $400,000) allowed athletics director Brian Reese to install lights at Bailey Memorial Stadium.

I guess we didn’t anticipate losing to FCS squads this year. I would have been 100% ok with playing some FBS schools (and getting pummeled) this year and last to let our guys see what the competition is REALLY like- and to also have the extra money to pay for freaking lights last offseason. Good move by Presby.

Anyone know how much KY is paying us to pad their record?

Probably a million though.

i just might have a problem with this. there’s something not-quite-right abt having guys getting the s**t kicked out of them for four 15 minute quarters so some suit in the AD can crow abt installing lights or whatever!
it happens all the time. i know.
