Opponents: HPU vs. N. Texas

After last year’s thumping at the hands of the Mean Green, do you guys think HPU is as talented of squad as N. Texas? The Hofstra win to start last season was great, do you think the staff overlooked N. Texas hoping to steal another victory in the Carrier Dome?

Arizona Reed is a beast and WILL be the best player on the floor Friday night. Coach Lundy has Charlotte (city) ties going back to Queens University of Charlotte, he will be looking for a statment win.

Just wanted to see the boards opinion of the two games. Good luck this season, anything will be an improvement over last year.

N Texas was the less than 24 hours after the Hofstra. Truth be told, Hofstra played like crap, and the better team lost. Also, Charlotte played badly, and the better team lost the next night. We are cautiously optimistic on this year’s team. No one is overlooking HPU.

After OSU and MSU lost to Division II teams, no team in the country should use that excuse at any point in the season.

do you think the staff overlooked N. Texas?

There’s no doubt in hell. That was one of the cockiest and stupidest things that the athletics dept. has ever done.

Who the hell schedules back-to-back games in basketball because of a women’s volleyball scheduling conflict? We R Charlotte!

I think Charlotte R Us fits those decision making skills better.

What is that supposed to mean, NLP? My name was charlottejayhawk until an unfortunate posting string back in the spring. I will be in attendance Friday night cheering on the Niners, while the Jayhawks play UL-Monroe that has to some sort of loyalty. I hope Coach Lutz has the boys ready for the Panthers, the first game of the season has a tendency to set the tone for the whole year.
