I may not be the biggest fan of the guy’s persona, but this is getting ridiculous. We want to bring in more posters, get more students involved… and how are we going to do this when the assumption that any new user is another metro alt?
He’s just going to keep coming back, under this name or that name or whatever. Just let him come back so we can actually move forward.
Where do I sign? I want him back, but not for the reasons listed above. I just don’t think he should have ever been banned in the first place.

If he has a bunch of aliases, then he can’t be too banned.
Don’t know what the whole story is, but I do wish whatever problems the mods and jobetro have with each other would be resolved.

na has always had a problem with metro. going all the way back to the old cusa-talk boards. those 2 really had some knockdown dragouts back then.
Metro as Metro makes the board more interesting.

i really don’t think metro is all that scary. i called his home number and left my # on his answering machine after i got into it with him once. he never returned my call. that doesn’t mean anything either way. but he’s benign.
so i say let’s remove the ban. the new people on here deserve to have the exposure.

I know NA and jobetro are not the best of friends and never have been, but from what I understand it wasn’t NA that made the decision. Like I said, I don’t know the whole story at all.
Serious question. What can you be banned for, I’m sure if you show some graphic porn you could get in trouble but other than that I’ve read some people get in some crazy bitching matches and still be here so I don’t get it.
Threatening physical violence on several posters is probably a good way to get banned.
i’ve seen charSFniner threaten violence on posters he disagreed with. and more than one. he still hasn’t been banned.
