Didn’t find out until recently that they had the same agent. That probably nixed the possibility right there.
As a Niner fan, I don’t see either QB as the solution. Having said that, Manning at 90% is better then Smith all day, so I’d take that, but they need to be looking for the next great QB over the next year or two to draft.

Sweet deal for Denver if this works out. You get one of the best QB’s of all time, possibly draft an under-the-radar QB to tutor under Manning, and trade your overrated QB while his stock is at its highest. Win-win.

No amount of Peyton would turn Tebow into a passer. While you are correct the need a young guy - they need an actual QB that can learn from Peyton, not a glorified full back who pretends to play QB.
