Rank Our Best Shooters - All Time

NA mentioned our argument in his post entitled “Rank Our Best SGs - Alltime.” My point revolved more around shooting ability more than the actual position of SG. I’d like to see everyone rank their Best AllTime Niner Shooters. Regardless of the position, rank our Niners based on their ability to consistently knock down a jumpshot.

My list (only who I’ve seen):

  1. Henry Williams
  2. Byron Dinkins
  3. Jobey Thomas
  4. Trigger Terrell
  5. Rodney White
  6. Diego Guevara
  7. Demon Brown
  8. Rod Howard
  9. Marlon Thomas
  10. Brenden Plavich

Next Group: Andre Davis, DA, Demarco, Colson, Lee, Zimmerman

I never witnessed anyone pre-Dinkins

  1. Martin Iti
  2. Butter Johnson
  3. Cornbread Maxwell
  4. Dumptruck Coleman
  5. Courtney Williams

Don’t forget Matas N. he was nasty from long range.

I think Lee is probably ahead of Demon in terms of shooting ability.

You reminded me that I forgot Phaler!!!

i think a spoof thread about Bob Huggins players would be great.

Rank the Best Shooter aka convicts at Cincinnati

I was about to say… Dude managed 1 for 17 on the season.

These are in my opinion the best shooters I’ve seen: Best shooters not best players

  1. Plavich- Dude had absolutely unbelievable range.
  2. Jobey- Do I have to even mention why
  3. Guevarra- Talk about clutch

Those are my top 3. Others that come to mind: Goldwire, Rodney White, Demon, Baldwin (jk)

Here’s my opinion:

 1> Henry Williams
 2> Jobey Thomas
 3> Byron Dinkins
 4> Diego Guevara
 5> Demon Brown
 6> Leemire Goldwire
 7> Trigger Terrell
 8> Rod Howard
 9> Benny Moss
10> Brendan Plavich

Lew Massey belongs somewhere toward the top of that list. I bet he hit 50% from what is now 3 point range.

1- Henry
2- Jobey
3- Benny
4- Diego
5- Byron

Yep. And George “Action” Jackson too. He scored 40 twice, before the 3 point shot was introduced.
