Record shattering enrollment numbers for UNC Charlotte

https://advancement.uncc.edu/newsletter-stories/record-breaking-numbers

for comparison: Fall 2017, Cheat was 29,847 and Sping 2017, State was 32,113 vs our current 29,710

Really thought we might eclipse the 30k mark this year - looks like it will be next year

Somehow State managed to add 2k undergrads in a year on their maxed-out campus.

NCSU far from maxed-out. Their secondary campus alone is larger than our campus and plenty of room to grow.

clt says ecu is declining in enrollment

Going to school in a tobacco field isn’t as popular as it once was.

A few weeks ago, there were articles posted on these threads describing ECU’s athletic budget woes. Their enrollment has declined for several years and their budgets were dependent on enrollment staying the same or increasing.

The student fees dedicated to athletics from the unanticipated students should be directed to promotions. The promotions should bring extra fans to events.

clt says ole miss is seeing enrollment drop as well.

ECU only has a one year decline after five years of increase.

29,710 announced as of today.

Perhaps those articles about ECU’s enrollment said it was lower than projected, contributing to their athletic deficit because student fees were less than projected.

ECU runs many ads for their online courses. Online students don’t pay the same students, do they?
