Very good crowd there tonight, we had the entire side in front of the stage full of Niner fans. Coach was typical coach, good appeal and answered the questions with ease.
Coach kept mentioning Jeff Mullins and how he treasured his conversation with him earlier in the year. He also talked about a few guys and how he’s developing good relationships with them.
Colby mentioned how we need to tighten up a little bit on defense, when he was on the mic.

Major is starting to grow on me. Talked about Mullins quite a bit and getting together with past players. Spoke about the students being strong for Queens game, and they need to continue that ([size=8pt]note he probably has similar bonus structure for student attendance Lutz had[/size]). Talked about Deuce being film junkie and wants to learn. Said he doesn’t think 8 healthy players will effect us too much but need to be smart with it and that we won’t always be 11-21 from three pt range. Enjoyed the fact Queens coach thought we looked like Big10 defense and that we occupy alot of space with bigs in interior wise. He wants to utilize how much real estate we use up. Said we would fastbreak if it was smart. Colby came on, said he was best shooter but Derrio hits shots with man in face. We all got big laugh because Colby sounds so…well…black. Everyone was expecting different voice.

Good to hear.
I enjoyed the fact that Queen’s said we played like a Big 10 team on defense. Defense travels.
