RPI Sunday Morning

Per ESPN’s RPI (for insiders only, you peasants),

We are 47th according to the numbers.
UL is 31
UD is 25
UC is 31
UH is 48
UM is 51

Joe Lunardi has us 41st in his “personal” RPI.

Another NCAA bid is looking more realistic. I think we’ll be a lock by the end of the season.

Does UM mean Marquette University?

UH is University of Hourston
UM is Marquette University

thanks NLP, it was all starting to blur together.

The big RPI scare can finally calm down on this board now. We are right where we usually are(and much sooner than I expected), but we are again in good shape. And we have 5 regular season games left agaisnt top 100 RPI teams, just keep winning games we should and we will be fine, we can probably even afford a St. Louis loss now(even though this is the year we win there).

Sorry. I was typing in a hurry this morning (the 3 year old birthday party waits for no man)

Cincy was 28. Loserville was 31.

The road wins, obviously, will be what separates us from the rest of any bubble teams. Not that we’ll be on the bubble - hopefully not. But even if we do end up there, that will put us over the edge. Only 1 road loss thru 16+ games. For tthe # of road games we play, that’s sick! We’d really have to tank it now to keep ourselves out of it.

We are #32 in the Sagarin Ratings and #34 in the Pomeroy Rankings today.

I kinow the Sagarin ratings don't determine the NCAA pairings, but if they did it would throw us into the 8-9 bracket again.

See I told all of you not to whine about the RPI in December.
