Well I know who I hope we hire to conduct the search, they had me at Danny White.
Search Consultants have become pretty normal these days so that schools do not hire somebody with embarrassing stuff in their backgrounds. Ask Rutgers about Julie Hermann and Notre Dame about George O’Leary. Research shows that using a search firm may not result in a list of better candidates, but may keep problem candidates from getting through the filters. They are the cost of risk mitigation.
