Section 103 AKA #Badfan Section

I have 3 on the back row.

I am a ENGR grad class of 2001. My wife (Charlotte grad) and son (future 49er) will be with me at most games.

We will be raising hell in the Black Lot with the Normbulance pre and post game.

First time poster!

I am 1996 BSCE graduate and my wife also graduated from Charlotte in '95. We have a 10 year old son who also bleeds green!

I pick on Monday and expect to be in 103. For those who have been there and selected, what’s the view of the video screen going to be like from 103?

The flythru video might give you some idea of what it’ll be like. You’ll be able to see the board, but I wonder about parallax and distortion sitting so close to edge-on to the screen. Hard to know about that with the board non-functional at this time.

From row 18, I think video board viewing will be fine.

My two FSL’s are on the back row (Row 22) seats 20-21. Looking forward to many good seasons! Hopefully, stadium expansion will happen in the not-too-distant future, which should put my seats in the shade provided by the upper deck.

103 row 13. Picked Thursday. I picked that side of the stadium to be closer to the video board and I think the view from there should be pretty good. A bit of a sharp angle but not too bad I think. It was really nice to see how many seats had been taken. There must be a lot of interest bubbling up for this many FSLs to have been sold. The ticket office guy said they only had about 300 left.

Lets spread the word and make sure we have a first game sellout!

That’s awesome. I know we all wanted the FSLs to sell out immediately but with only 300 left they should sell out before the first game.

Here is a question for all FSL holders. What would you think if they sold the FSL seats that are left over to general public game by game? Seems like a good way to market the seats and they certainly want sellouts. What do people think about that?

Single game tickets are fine with me. Season tickets I would prefer not.

I don’t care at all. I want all seats full, including temporary seating.

Me neither. I want the place packed as much as the fire dept will allow. I’m already dreading the possibility of empty, but sold, seats in the gold section. THAT will piss me off more than even giving away free tickets to those who WANT TO BE THERE.

I agree with this. I’m cool with them selling them as single game tickets but not as season tickets. I’m OK with season ticket’s being sold but not in the Green and Gold FSL areas. Single game in the FSL areas are OK with me because that could be a way to sell the FSL eventually, but if you let them have them as season tickets there’s no motivation to buy the FSL.

I’m hoping they let the FSL owners/big donors get first dibs at buying extra seats per game, and the remaining open seats can be sold to the general public. That’s the fairest way of doing it, in my opinion.

Grad school class of 04 - Information Security and Privacy

When I picked my seats at about 2:30 in the afternoon, the entire back row was shaded. It doesn’t do much good with our 12:00 kickoffs, but we may get shade in the 4th quarter.

This is how it should be done. Current FSL owners get 1st dibs on any leftover season/ single games tickets. The rest get marked up to sell the general public.

BAM! Section 103, Row 9, seats 1 & 2. Right at the 3-yard line. Red zone action will be really cool from here. And the video board?!?! Really awesome, and the angle will be a non-issue. Super impressed with the whole place, really super impressed.

Nice. We have seats 3-6.
