Setting the record straight...

 1. Bob Huggins put a knife in Coach Lutz’ back. That is the real evil here. Mike Beasley can go wherever he wants, and Dalonte can coach wherever he wants, but this deal doesn’t go down unless Huggins decides to throw his friend under the bus. Money wasn’t the issue here, just the allure of being promised great things when Bob returns to the “Big time”. And for all of you KState fans that think he is a longtimer in Manhatten, good luck. The undercurrent of this deal in the coaching circles is he is looking for a quick winner and the first chance to bolt to better pastures in the East. You can refuse to believe that, but bookmark this page and revisit this thought in 2-3 years, when he moves to WVU, etc.

 2. Kenyon Harmon and David Booker are both in good shape. Don’t worry. Both were Moss recruits and neither predicated their decision on Beasley. In fact, both will likely flourish earlier now that Beasley’s 35 minutes and 20 shots are distributed in a different way.

 3. Dalonte was responsible for Anderson and Wilderness, but both are signed and ready to roll. Tatum was also a Dalonte recruit, and he likely will still be coming to Charlotte because he developed a good repoire with Lutz.

 4. Don’t bet the ranch on Beasley going to KState. If you want a flyer of a bet, go with Florida. There are some things in the works that could make this happen.

 5. Don’t forget that not one player on the current team is a Dalonte recruit. Most are in fact Moxley or Moss recruits. Dalonte and his DC Assault “connections” failed to bring Deron Washington (VT) or Dante Cunningham (Villanova) to Charlotte. These were two kids pegged as can’t miss for Hill. He missed on both. If he misses in Manhatten, KS, don’t think Huggins won’t show him the same loyalty he just showed Lutz.

 6. As much as Huggins is at the root of this, Dalonte can’t escape the stink. Coach Lutz brought him back into the fold, helped him get his degree (something he had to have to get into college coaching, and thus have the opportunity he has now), and gave him his first college job. He delivered no one that has played one minute at Charlotte, and just as Lutz’ investment in him was about to pay some dividends, he up and leaves to produce the prize dividend for Huggins. What comes around, goes around and I sure hope Dalonte knows what he is getting into – and for his sake, he better beg Mike Beasley to show up at KState. His career and reputation are riding on it.

great post. Curious how Florida is playing into the scene or anyother programs as well. Wasn’t Syracuse after Beasley at one point?

That’s good insight. Thanks. I didn’t think Dalonte was in on Anderson. Seems like a Coach Lutz guy.

Will be interesting to see where Beasley ends up…Manhattan Kansas or Gainesville Florida.

HUGGINS is PATHETIC!!!

Who is this masked man???..Thanks for Providing us with a great post!!!
great post. Curious how Florida is playing into the scene or anyother programs as well. Wasn’t Syracuse after Beasley at one point?
Syracuse was trying to get in on Beasley but took a commitment from another player at his position in his class. They are out of the mix.

great post, good info

nevermind

beasley25, you may want to change your signature :pout:
Other than the fact that it looks like we dont have an snowballs chance in hell, beasley has yet to decommit, correct?
Correct

Insightful indeed. Thanks Provider.

Why do you all think Bealsey is going somewhere else now. He ain’t going to Florida, he won’t get the playin time there.

He is still coming here, if not then it’s Kansas State

Go Gators! I really hope that scum bag’s plan doesn’t work out for him. Funny how Jim Boeheim or Billy Donovan didn’t pull a move like this and they aren’t even friends with Lutz. I guess they have class or something.

excellent post, hopefully the basketball gods will sort this out, I just hope that ethics and loyalties do still count for something, and judging by the reaction from doyle, I believe the majority will see this as bad taste, At least you can’t buy honor, and you can’t coach forever.

Noah and Horford will be long gone by the time Beasley could reach Florida’s campus

this is probably the most informative beasley thread of them all. thanks provider.

Jon Mitchell is a player similar to the mold of Beasley who will be a freshman at Florida next season. (A little shorter, but has been the star on Mt. Vernon for four years now, they recently beat Lincoln (Coney Island of Stephan Marbury and Sebastian Telfair fame) for the NY State Federations.

the provider is my favorite poster (along with clt), and this is why

Thanks for this great post. The sun WILL come out tomorrow, which is, by the way, another day. Now, let’s all get some sleep…zzzzzzzzzzzz…

Huggins couldn’t have thrown Lutz under the bus unless they were hanging around the gutter together. With all the top notch programs that could have offered Hill a job it’s a darn strange coincidence that the deal was done by an unemployed golfing buddy of our coach.

It took you that long to come up with a bogus conspiracy theory this time, gamer? It’s time to retire. You’ve lost a step. Any good troll would have mentioned this yesterday.
