Domes are stupid. I get the idea it could bring some different events, but football - especially at this climate is supposed to be played outside for the teams and the fans. Rain snow cold heat - it’s freaking football.

I’m a fan of retractable domes. Still get the elements if you want but eliminates the extremes.

I get that in Miami or Minnesota - but we dont get true extremes here. It’s never going to be as cold as it was in KC where it’s a health issue and while yes it gets hot here and uncomfortable at times, its certainly still fine.
Some of the best game memories I have at that stadium are from uncomfortable weather.

Oh I understood the busine$$ reason$ for the retractable dome. Im Just saying it’s stupid and soft to play football away from the weather in this climate.
Since Tepper doesn’t care about any of that I have no doubt he will want a dome and likely doesn’t care of it opens or not. Doesn’t make it any less stupid.

Other than a final 4 what are we talking about attracting exactly?
Probably f4, Super Bowl so maybe each one of those once??? And a huge maybe. Outside of that I guess just concerts.
Oh and maybe some of the college football playoff games?
I care 0 about the super bowl. It’s a party for the ultra wealthy and nothing more. The odds of the panthers playing in the super bowl at the same time we hosted a super bowl are damn near 0% anyway.
The final four would be cool, but we would get it exactly once before they move on to the next new venue.
I really don’t understand the fascination people have with hosting these events.
I would think most entrepreneurs within the host city of a Super Bowl would prefer the home team NOT be a participant in the game, especially hotels, restaurants, etc.
Super Bowl, college football playoff, additional bowl game, final four, wrestle mania, concacaf championship, and lots and lots of concerts.
And the dome can open for the bad weather for football for the hard core fans.

Tepper doesn’t have the real grass needed for legit soccer now with no roof. You think he will put a real grass system in for an indoor stadium?
I get why people want a dome. It’s just dumb. I haven’t been to a dome I like. Oh and wrestlmanias are also held outside regularly- don’t need a roof for that.
I think he’ll just keep doing what he’s done in the past - put in real grass for certain events.
