Pro / International soccer should never be played on artificial surfaces. With all the money involved in this tournament, it’s stupid to make the pros risk injury (their club teams will agree), and change the game that much by playing on turf. Also, except for this silly go 'round, the tournament is played in summer. The beautiful game was meant to be played on a natural grass surface.

I watched that game. For all the talk of the younger players, it was Alex Morgan that was the biggest threat. Also, I dunno how good or bad Haiti is but they had 2 very close calls on scoring opportunities. One shot rolled just outside the right post, and a PK fooled the GK but hit the left post. Could have easily been 2 goals for Haiti.

Alex Morgan was still the best player on the field though.
