To this untrained eye, that looked like a stupid move on the us player to commit that penalty that resulted in a penalty kick. Terrible.
Someone explain this to me?

My son and I watched the match at a packed Angry Ale’s. Great atmosphere though definitely disappointing for USA to commit the foul that resulted in the tying PK by Bale.
BTW, Bale about the only player who didn’t score for MLS champion LAFC when they steamrolled CLTFC back in August!
