Only gripe i have is that the starters played soft in the 2nd half. This team just cannot play 90 minutes of consistent football.
That’s gonna happen when the other team’s goalkeeper also works at a hardware store to make ends meet. My guess is even though they got destroyed, playing against the likes of Bayern will be a highlight those players’ careers.

I had forgotten about this. One of the worst outright referee thefts I’ve ever seen.
The USMNT of that era was amongst the best we have ever had. I was really hoping this generation would have a chance to equal them. Kind dim hopes at this point.

Duckens as a surname is German in origin. Haiti seems to be unique for its use as a first name.
And yes, that Haiti goal was a giveaway. Just like the first run LSU scored today in Omaha and golfer Tommy Fleetwood’s “meltdown” on the final hole of the PGA Travelers Championship.
