When my daughter attended WCU, I would always think about the team every time I made the trip to Cullowhee when passing the I-40 exit for the community of Leicester just NW of Asheville.

What a match. Unfortunately, Wrexham had to win this one as Hull City scored late to beat Norwich and passed them in the standings for the last playoff spot. This match was insane because both teams were in full attack mode the entire match - it was back and forth for the full 90. Could have been as many as 10 goals in this one but just some amazing plays on both ends of the pitch.
So Wrexham does not pull off the never before achieved back-to-back-to-back-to-back promotion.. but they came really really close. Should make for a really interesting season of Welcome to Wrexham.

The run in at the end of the season is special. There were so many ways yesterday could have gone in Championship that each goal made a difference. This was a fun match to watch and Wrexham was so close to winning and had some great chances in the end. Ultimately, they have accomplished so much and should be proud. Will be interesting what they do in the transfer market and if they can be equally as competitive next season.
