Spease named Chair of NCAA Div. I Golf Committee


[QUOTE]Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte 49ers Senior Associate Athletic Director Darin Spease has been named chair of the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee. Spease has served one year on the committee and has three years remaining in this appointment.

A 1989 graduate of UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration, Spease has worked with the 49ers athletic department for the past 10 years. He was named Assistant A.D. for Business Affairs in May, 1998 and promoted to Associate A.D. in 2001 and Senior Associate A.D. in 2004. Among his duties, he oversees the 49ers nationally-ranked golf program. [/QUOTE]
