As a refresher, initially it was reported (2024) that the athletic programs of the 10 non-FBS UNC schools were going benefit from the state taxes levied on sports betting. Then Charlotte, App, and ECU were included. Now the Holes and Pack will get a share similar to the latter.
Of course, the cynic in me says that eventually the lion’s share will end up in Chapel Hill and Raleigh.
