Got some good pix of the Spring game. How do I post them? thanks
in the screen for reply, look at the bottom where it says āattachments and other optionsā click that and then click choose file and you can add them from your hard drive.
another option is to post them on a file sharing website like imgur.com or photobucket.com and then type [img] (link to image url) REMOVE THE SPACE between the g ] and that will work too.
THIS!
And music choices need improvement. Donāt like Hellās Bells as our intro. Didnāt like the piano intro of some rap song as we lined up in the Redzone. Poor clip selection. I thought I was watching the Masters. And I heard the no sleep till Brooklyn song. Thought that was reserved for this years basketball games lol.
Lastly, Gold Dusters should perform at the 50-yard line, not the endzone opposite the fieldhouse.
Simply not feasible at football games. Thatās a long run out to do a routine and run back during a thirty second time out. Watch the Top Cats at a Panthers game. They do a mid-field routine at halftime and thatās about itā¦ everything else is in the end zones.
As football begins to work itās magic, youāll see the Dusters grow, and eventually there will be a squad in each end zone. 'Till then, you can be jealous of those of us who grabbed seats in 111.
If the regular season is anything like today. The āgame day experienceā on campus is going to be awesome! Walking into the stadium hearing the crowd noise and smelling the grill smoke in the air I almost teared up. I never truly thought iād ever see football at UNC Charlotte and to see it done this well is incredible. I canāt wait for August 31th and iām praying for beautiful weather that day.
I am sooo angry that I didnāt get to go to this game! But I am sooo happy to hear and see it was such a success! 13,950( if that is 100% correct) is about 90% stadium capacity!! That completely blew my expectations away. Now I just cannot wait to see the game on August 31st. Come hell or high water, I WILL be at that game!
speaking of marching band has anyone heard any rumors on this? I may have missed themā¦but I heard coach lamberts family members at the game say they recently changed their mind and were feverishly working to get a band in place by August 31ā¦didnt know if anyone else knew anything. Taking it with a grain of saltā¦could just be coach Lambert pleading that we need oneā¦idk

I have al ot of the same pictures everyone else has posted. Here is another angle (right after kickoff):
Thanks Apache. I took your links and posted the pics directly on the board using the image url and [img]
We desperately need at least a pep band at the game. They donāt have to initially march but be there to play the fight song when we score.
I got there about 30 minutes before kick off but was surprised at the amount of people still tailgating. Iāve never seen that many students on campus on a Saturday before. Football really will transform the University and the surrounding area.
The attendance number from the University is 13,950. I would have gone with 12,000 - 12,500 if you look at the stands from the 3rd quarter on.
I was very pleased with everything. I expected to see a lot of people that have never been to a Charlotte game before, and were just there because they heard about it on the news. But what I saw was TONS of Niners shirts and hats. A lot of people were coming back on campus for the first time in years.
Parking was flawless and I security and university officials didnāt intervene and take the fun out of tailgating.
No way, I was guessing over 14,000 actually.

One thing is clear to me, both the Cheerleaders and Gold Dusters need to double their squad sizes.
Brought a non-Niner fan to take in the scene. He loved it, but griped about the one cash register, and demanded that the dusters and cheerleaders switch sides of the field at half time. Also, our cheerleaders have weak arms.
13,950 may be correct.
Notice how few open seats are in the corners and endzone and there are a TON of people at least 2 rows deep standing all along the top of the bowl all the way down the length of the bowl.
Agree. There were people standing all along the student side of the stadium. If those butts had been in seats I have no reason to doubt the published number.
Fantastic day. We tailgated to start and found a choice spot a few spots away from the Normbulance. Perfect area for corn hole in the grassy area right next to the road above the retaining wall. The walk to the stadium is gorgeous from the black lot. The whole day I was looking around feeling so great about football finally being here and at the same time hating that it wasnāt there when I was in school. I brought a buddy of mine who didnāt go to Charlotte and he was completely impressed and said heād like to come to any game where I had an extra seat.
Props to the student for showing up in force today. It was great to see. Props to the AD as well. They did a great job today.
Get here August 31st!!
To those questioning the crowd size. The stadium seemed almost full at one point and that was with hundreds of people walking around. I am sure the released attendance is correct. I have no reason to doubt it.
we scan tickets - its not that hard to be accurate anymore. I donāt doubt the attendance #s at all.
Good to hear! So happy to hear this! Anyone take a picture of Niner Way? Heard that looked awesome.
The only thing I missed today was the sound of a traditional band. There is something about the sound of drums that just speaks football. Even if they donāt march adding a band would be a great idea.
Same here. I can live without a marching band for the time being but I still want a pep band at the games to play the fight song.
