this season resembles a lopsided boxing match. not making the tourny will be symbolic of the ref stoppin the fight 2 rounds early and most everyone would be glad it was over.

Stop the fight = Throw in the towel = Quit = WE DON’T NEED FANS LIKE YOU ANYWAY!!!
I mean, I hope we go to the A-10 Tournament and win the whole thing, but I think we all realize that is more a pipe dream than a realistic occurrance.

Irrelevant…You NEVER want to go in the record books as having missed your conference tourney!

Not irrelevant, it is relevant to the topic at hand.
I can understand why someone would want the season to be over, you yourself said you can’t wait for the season to be over.
Hey, the end of the season can’t get here soon enough, but there is no way in hell that I want it to end early. I definitely don’t want us to miss the conference tourney.

Please don’t.
Please don't.
That was hilarious.

in your opinion…IMO, it is irrelevant to the topic, which WAS that because we’re not likely to win the A10 tourney, that making it doesn’t make much difference.
…while I am looking forward to this season ending, I meant I’m ready for ALL of the college basketball season to end…not just ours and I certainly didn’t mean I would prefer to miss the A10…no way, no how!

WTF?
I don’t think Pickman nor Powerbait said they wanted the season to end or he wanted us to miss the A-10 tournament. What he said if you read it was some posters would be glad just have the season over realizing that even if we make the conference tournament it is a PIPE dream to think we’ll win it.
LOL- we’re in a potential “Play-in” game with the Bonnies on Saturday and you guys have the audacity to scold someone for wanting the season to end and posting a dead-on analogy.
It would indeed be symbolic of this year if we lost.
I hope we make it, but I can understand the feeling and just wanting it to end.
This is March. It is what basketball is all about. We have our destiny in our hands. As long as we win we keep playing. The next game is the only one that matters. If we play next week, we are 0-0, same as everyone else in the tournament. Anyone who doesn’t want to answer the bell for the next round has had too many blows to the head.
If UNCC was actually playing basketball I would agree. What I’ve seen thus far is a way different game. Blame? Lutz. I have to conclude he’s a terrible coach and UNCC needs to change it up. Sure, he’s loyal and a nice guy and an o.k. recruiter and a great motivator, yada, yada, yada. Man can’t coach. Teams look the same year in and year out, ragged, undisciplined, nothing from FT line, poor fundamentals, etc. Bye Lutz, get a job in D3 where you belong.

Using that logic only about 3 teams should even bother showing up in Atlantic City.

Maybe.
But not because it’s inaccurate.
