I’m looking to pay someone to convert some YouTube Videos to DVD before Christmas.

Piggybacking on JCohen’s suggestion: You can grab a USB DVD-R drive at Best Buy for sub-$50. Might be the simplest thing as opposed to trying to get up with someone in person over the holidays.
