Good for them- with their recent success, I can see why they are on.

The A10 championship game won’t be on ESPN8 (the ‘Ocho’) this season. It will be on regular network tv: CBS @ 1pm on Selection Sunday. The incentive to reach the game should be high, as there should be a lot of people around the country tuning in that day - great national exposure for those two teams.

Anybody know if MASN is picking up any of our games this year? I would think they would carry the ODU game, but wasn’t sure if any of the other games would be on or not.

That’s going to suck if CBS is your ACC Raycom affiliate. They will be showing that game instead of the A-10 title game. I used to get heart-attack mad when we were in the CUSA finals and I could not watch it, knowing much of the country could.

Except that you won’t see it in North Carolina. hootie and others in western NC may be the only ones to catch it on WSPA in Spartanburg. CBS affiliates in North Carolina (WBTV-Charlotte, WFMY-Greensboro, WRAL-Raleigh) will be showing the ACC Championship at that time.

So…if we make the A10 Championship, we won’t even be able to watch it?

Not unless TimeWarner carries it on a separate channel. They have done that in the past for the Charlotte area. Those of us in the Triad and Raleigh are screwed.

Sort of like the Duke vs Charlotte viewing party poster out in cyberland… let’s worry about getting there first!

Love the optimism! :49ers:

**** Another reason to hate the ACC

WRAL broadcasts the CBS game on a secondary channel over the air, which TWC in the Raleigh area also includes.

Powerbait said he’d make sure the Niners are carried on a TWC channel in the Triangle area, so blame him if it doesn’t happen.
