He has a picture but the site said that they are currently updating his profile, maybe to add Charlotte to his list?

Very short summary : Junior small forward Terrell Bell and his boys from Stone Mountain got it done against South Atlanta Tuesday night. They won the ballgame 83-74 as Bell contributed 27 points.

ummm…i thought an article was coming

I know ID i’m with ya , been checking everytime I get on to see what he had to say

I just noticed that Bell is listed as 6-6 195 on scout, big difference. Also doesn’t he play on the same Atlanta Celtics that Tatum plays for?

Yep plays for the Atlanta Celtics…

His leader right now is VA Tech, but that could and probably will change as he visits schools and learns more about them. He said VT is his leader right simply because they have shown the most interest, but that it’s “not set in stone.” He also has offers from Charlotte, Alabama, Missouri, Ole Miss, App State, and VCU…

What kind of player is he?

We offerred? Really?

I should add that this info came from NinerReport.com. You guys that havent signed up really should. I know you all think anything that is posted over there will eventually pop up on this site, but that is far from true. There are a lot of really interesting tidbits on current and future players that never get posted over here. Sign up… NOW

Do you get a commission???

lol Im sure thats what it looks like, but no. I just hate that we are so fortuntae to have that great site, but hardly anyone will pay to support it. And the “hardly anything gets posted over there” argument is a load of crap. In the past few weeks we have gotten info Sanchez, Hickson, Andersen, Harmon, Phaler and Bell, and a QandA with 'Twon is on its way. Thats stuff that we would have never gotten on here, it all comes from NR.

Looks like we are trailing VT and Georgia for this kid. Looks like he and Harmon might be the same player anyway.

Per scout.com

Among those many schools that were on hand to track Bell’s movements was Virginia Tech, a fact that Bell was sure to note. Bell gave us a current school list that includes the Hokies, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Charlotte.

“I would say that Virginia Tech and Georgia are the schools that I like the most right now,” Bell continued. “I won’t have any problem traveling out of state although at the same time it might be nice to stay fairly close to home.”

Bell showed a strong floor game, fine rebounding ability and was one of the best passers in camp. He is looking for a college that will integrate his abilities and allow his game to showcase his strongest attributes.

“When I go to college, I would like to play the two (guard) and three (wing forward) and get out and run,” said Bell. ”I want to find a program that gets out and runs and if I can do that, then I will take care of the rest, like rebounding and passing.

“Passing is a big part of my game. I love to hit the open man and I love to throw the no-look pass.”

While Bell is certainly looking hard at matching his talents with a college program, he already sounds like the Hokies have made a very favorable early impression.

“They (Hokies) have just been on me since the start early on, the start of the summer. Some schools come in and out but Virginia Tech has stayed right there with me,” Bell replied. “Virginia Tech has been there the whole time, the coaches seem like good guys and Coach Greenberg really seems to know what he is doing.”

Bell intends to unofficially visit Blacksburg sometime around August 1-2 after he returns from Las Vegas and California, where he will be finishing play with his AAU team, the Atlanta Celtics. When he does arrive in Blacksburg, expect him to be armed with information about the program and to have done his homework on the school.

“I am very interested in that backcourt position that will be opening up and I was looking at their roster last night. That (backcourt) opening really interests me a lot,” chuckled Bell. “I am really starting to learn about Virginia Tech a lot and I will ask questions when I get there (on his unofficial visit) and find out even more about them. I like what I am already finding out and hearing about them.”

After that, Bell has a fairly clear timeframe for making his selection.

“I really want it over by October at the latest so I can sign during the early signing period and focus on my high school season.”

Stupid Hokies.

"and Coach Greenberg really seems to know what he is doing.”

The kid wil never qualify if he makes statements like that.

Not a major loss, I’d expect our interest of Bell to go way down after securing Harmon.
