That’s a nice honor for TJ. I thought Sherer had a shot to be on there as well.

The way Sherer played down the stretch I thought he had a good shot at being all-freshman. Glad TJ got the honor and was also good to see Jarrett find some power toward the end. Shame conference play started out so poorly we seemed to being playing decent ball the last few weeks.

I thought Logan had the best shot of getting on All- Freshman. I think the fact that he mainly played DH and came out of the pen might have hurt him.

Congrats to TJ. Can’t wait to see these Freshman grow over the off season. Almost all of the line-up comes back next year. We just lose all of our weekend starting pitching.

We also will have another solid Piedmont Panther (along with Brad Elwood and Patric King) coming aboard as a freshman next year. Hunter Jones is an infielder and pitcher who is currently helping Piedmont in yet another nice state playoff run (defending State 2A Champs who moved back up to 3A this season and haven’t missed a beat). Headed to the quarterfinals this Friday night. Piedmont also has a great junior pitcher that I hope we are recruiting (David Nash).

Looking for big things from Des in his Senior year this season. I hope the injury is nothing that lingers into 2015.

Nice seeing TJ doing well this summer too.
