Right now he’s living the real American dream, but I’m sure he’d rather be coaching his team.
His actions were understandable but not appropriate, but he wouldn’t have as many “proximity” issues in a college stadium.
A parent like that is probably the same kind of parent that beats his kid for losing.

Hire him as an advisior with a coaching option. At worst, we get a great assistant coach and a local recruiter.

I don’t know the guy, but it sounds like they other guy crossed the line because he had a fence to protect him. In the end, Knotts will pay, but it sure sounds like the whiny parent that probably beats their kid for losing got punked.
