Duke Energy Corporate Center: VOLTron Glitter

Too bad none of us will be wearing green. Greenout>Blackout

Except me.

So how many 49er grads that work downtown, that haven’t been to a game in Halton, will be there tom. night in their finest Tar Hole light blue. >:D

Ace will be there to support us NINERS, aint’s ya Ace? And, remember to wear “Black” and go Niners ! ! ! 8)

None. They will all be heading for some Christmas party somewhere where others there will be in their finest Tar Hole light blue. :’(

It sure helps that this is the Christmas Season.

Trust me, this is being done for us, NINER NATION. But GREEN at Christmas is appropriate as well.

We should all be wearing green tonight, PEROID. We have a chance to paint this town green, so instead we have a blackout. Huge failure.

Hey just be happy we didn’t delcare this a “Baby Blue Out” - you know to make all the Carolina uptown fans feel welcome.

FIXED

This is going to be awesome, can’t wait to see it.

They were lighting it up during the ACC Championship game depending on who scored. It was a nice touch.

I was thinking along the same lines. I believe that encouraging people to wear green uptown would of connected some of our uptown alumni to the 49ers a bit better. Think about it, people wearing green ties and shirts at work, someone is going to ask or someone is going to tell. Also, I believe the green would create tighter bond with the University since they will feel like they are part of the experience, rather then just wearing black which doesn’t really do much. Yeah they will wear it to the game, but they can be a part of a blackout at Davidson, Chapel Hill, NCSU etc etc.

Black Outs are great, but I believe they work better at home, Black Out Halton type event. This is a great opportunity to paint uptown green.

Since when has everyone acually followed the “Blackout” “Whiteout” promotions… We’ll be good… This is attracting more than just students which students will most likely be the only ones that “Blackout”

Orange will stand out great with a blackout.

The quality of your posts has gone way up over the years.

I just wish you weren’t so jaded. :frowning:

You’re welcome. It was a labor of love and I MADE SURE the right folks at Wells Fargo knew that NINER NATION appreciates the gesture.

Heading uptown now. The lights are white. I’ll see if they’re rotating the colors
