I gotta say, this team could have just quit and laid down for the season long ago. However, there are some good things going on behind the scenes (coaching, mentoring, counseling, encouraging, cajoling, etc.) that is keeping these kids heads up and their psyches positive. I’m amazed and impressed. And I should be amazed and impressed, since I’m a very sore loser and as such have a very bad attitude after losing and would have thrown in the towel weeks ago. Thank God, Sanchez and his staff for keeping these kids working hard. Now I’m going to enjoy this rare, even more rare ROAD win over uab. YES!!!
