That’s an Observer mistake. The ACCers may think they wrote about the Charlotte Hornets or may be the Bobcats . . .wait a minute could it be the Knights or the Checkers? I’m so confused.:tongue:

wow that is one horribly written writeup. I watched the game, and still couldn’t follow/read that whole thing.

Some final words on this game from Matt Vautour…

Weeks, months and years from now people won't remember the score or the date.

But certain details will be unforgettable - the 18-point lead, the missed free throws and the last minute 3-pointers.

People will simply remember Thursday’s 69-65 loss as “The Charlotte Game.” That’ll be enough to bring back all the bad memories.

Leemire Goldwire, previously just a fun name to say, will be Mullins Center profanity like Lenny Wirtz or Bryant Reeves.
