Speechless
.
Why insult UMass because we suck out loud?
6 people on the court after a timeout… ABSOLUTELY no excuse whatsoever.
That might have been the worst crowd I have ever seen at Halton. Looked like a bad socon team’s attendance.
When you put a bad product out on the floor year after year, it should be expected.
Well there would have definitely been a bigger crowd there if we weren’t on spring break, but it doesn’t help that the team can’t seem to win a game these days.
Spring break or not. We should have had a better crowd there.

Good portion of alumns in the area
top 20 biggest city in the usa
Tons of faculty/staff
we should be selling most of our games, not struggling to get 2k in a post season tournament.

I expect a packed house every game. Although it will never happen.

We don’t have a strong fanbase, that’s why not many people showed up. We have a lot of casual fans who come only when we’re winning. A lot of people were on spring break, and I’m sure some people weren’t aware of the game too.
i was there. I am ate every game.
but the last few games were like last year — basketball was like a chore.
I was there because I wi;; support the team no matter what happens, but damn I could have named a hundred other places i’d have rather been.
Really? We played at home and lost to a terrible UMass team? We got a technical for too many men on the ice? I mean court? I have watched a lot of bball and have NEVER seen that happen.
We were 18-5 (8-1) at one point in the season and the whole thing went straight to hell?
I can’t believe it. Should be an interesting off season…at least I hope it will be interesting.
This sums up how I feel… :-\
5/26 from 3… Lutzball at it’s finest. Dewhurst and Anjuan made 2 of those 5.
How do you lose a tournament game on your home floor when you are a double digit favorite and you beat the team you are playing by double digits in their own gym?
Anjuan played great… until he was completely shut down by Bobby Lutz. He was 5/7 from the floor, 11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal in 18 minutes. Bobby barely let him play the second half. WTF?
We had some very strange lineups in there… at one point Ian, Gokhan, Dew, Harris, and Phil played an extended stretch together.
A technical foul for 6 men on the floor with under a minute to play. lol
Very ironic that UMASS beats us by fouling instead of letting us shoot a 3 at the end… the very thing we could have done to beat Richmond a couple of days ago.
Our season died a peaceful death today in the presence of 1,941 close friends. RIP. What an abortion of a season. I feel bad for anyone that bought tickets to AC.
Followed on Espn updates at work.
Listend to last 10 1/2 min. on radio on way home.
Let’s see:
-
Both teams shot a billion missed 3’s. Apparently neither one had the God-given sense to go inside to score.
-
How the hell do you have 6 on the court for a T?
-
Hey Ref, how does Green go up for a dunk, get slammed to the ground, the ball gets stuck between the backboard & the basket, & the call is jump ball alternating possession UMass? Where’s the damn foul? I know y’all don’t call 90% of fouls against Charlotte, but slammed to the ground is way to obvious to not call.
I caught bits and pieces online via radio and read the post game story this morning. It’s dissapointing the way this year has ended (Yes I know we’ll still have the NIT). I didn’t see this season ending this way 3 or 4 weeks ago. We did improve this year compared to last year and with no changes at the top expected, I hope the class we have coming in can get us over the top. I would love to see a Niners peak in March as opposed to early February.
I’d be surprised if we got into the NIT at this point. Lutz said in the postgame show he didn’t think we’d get in either.

I didn’t know he said that. Nevermind then…
There were nore Niner fans at last night’s game than have ever been at an A-10 or CUSA tourney opening game.
