Why didn’t Anderson see more action the 2nd half. He had a great game against SI and here tonight in the first half but it seems a little like they forget about him in the second half.

Why didn’t Lutz call a timeout before Goldwire turned it over. It was obvious before the turnover that Goldwire was having trouble breaking free. He it those big threes out of timeouts, why not try it again.

Why were we playing zone? They were hitting the threes. They just have to swing it a few times to get the open shot. GO MAN!!!

Do our big guys not know on defense they should be guarding the middle? How many layups underneath with our guys 8 feet from the basket.

Phaler got in in the first half. Didn’t seem to hurt us since we were up by 10 but what makes you bring in a guy you haven’t seen in a few games.

Jones was beastin it up though and I liked the drives by Gerrity. Goldwire got his, but that one really bad 3 attempt with a couple minutes left was real bad.
aHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I’m depressed. Looked like a total different team out there in the second half. But, remember, young team… 6-3 in the grand scheme of things is better than I thought we’d be.

Harris - I dont kno that he had a bad game necessarily, he just didnt look near as gerrity
Ian - solid off the bench initially, then he took a bizarre shot or two, defense was good though
Coley - dumb fouls - but he connected with the basket, which is nice to see especially after the first game or two
Mack - bad game - thats all
Wilderness - i think this was the first game he’s had wehre he wasnt amazing - but he was still a solid contributer - good on the FT’s too
Dewhurst is probably one of the only players I know will at least attempt to drive

I had to become a member after reading a particular post…let’s face it…without Harris we would not have been 6-2 and everyone knows it. Now we lose and “Harris kills the offense”…are you kidding…if it wasn’t for Harris running the plays and being a solid point guard there would not have been any offense the first half of these games…what about Coley fouling everytime he got in the game(stupid fouls I might add). What about Mack shooting three’s when he should be under the basket and the crucial turnover at the end…what about us getting out rebounded AGAIN! U make it seem like Harris made us lose the game…Gerrity played good for his first game but he plays NO DEFENSE whatsover…dont challenge me cause i taped the game and he plays absolutely no defense, something Harris does superb. Anderson played a good game off the bench and Phil played alright. Needs to get stronger under the basket…Can anyone rebound??? We must block out!!!
It’s one game, people. It sucks ass to have a letdown like this, but stop jumping off buildings. Of course we shot a lot of threes - we were in foul trouble with the big guys (esp. Coley) and they were playing zone… we have utilized the inside guys a lot this year but it didn’t work out today.
this loss is no surprise based on what i have seen this year. if lee isn’t hot against davidson we get blown out. wake is terrible. bobby ball will never win consistently. i am ready for a new era.

its one game…one game…we lose to monmouth and this boards says “bye bye bobby, its been a good run” and then we beat davidson wake and southern ill and we have people talking ncaa and top 25…thennnnnnnn we lose to hofstra and its the same thing

good post. however idk about those home wins…youd be surprised how many of these guys instantly disappear at halton and lutz live after a loss.

good post. The team is not as bad as today and not as good as against Southern Illinois. Still a team that is leaps and bounds better than last year.

The three ball has helped us the last few games. I guess when you lose, you realize it more? But where was Wilderness. I havent seen the box score but I would guess he took 2 or 3 shots the whole game. He should get at least 8 shots per game.
