well if you were really trying to promote the school you would refer to it as simply “Charlotte”. Everyone that I’ve met in Cali that knows the school knows it at Charlotte. Its kind of like out here there is UCLA UCB UCI etc… but the only one to use “The University of California” is UC Berkley. UCLA is known as “UCLA” UCI is known as “UCI” or “Irvine”… UCSD is known as “UCSD” or “San Diego”… not one of these schools tryies to say they are UC or California even though they are all part of the UC System. So why use “UNC” if your talking about UNC Charlotte or “Charlotte”? Is there really any need for the ambiguity? Many people would say that you are trying to ride on the identity of UNC Chapel Hill (Known most popularly as simply “UNC” or “North Carolina”)… Why not create your own identity and be proud that you go to “Charlotte”?

I went to UNC Charlotte… not UNC

Awesome. I’m going to try and tell her what’s up, if I can only figure out how to use MySpace.

AAAAAGGGHHH!!!:ticked::cuss::fastgun:

You’ve gotta be kidding me. She told you she was a professor. LOL, does she actually believe anyone is going to believe that? TA AT BEST, but I doubt that. TA would make her a grad student

Done. Hopefully she will respond. I don’t think there is any way she was a professor. She sounded very dumb.

Looks like she’s changed it to Charlotte.

Looks like she's changed it to Charlotte.

Yeah I saw that. Well done to all those who contacted her about it!

I asked her to change her name a couple weeks ago. I sent her a link of the name confusion thread. I recieved no response. ciao!
