Invitation only that requires a 3/4 vote of membership. Currently 71 schools in US and Canada, including Duke and UNC-CH in North Carolina.
BTW, see that once long-time member Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking to get reinstated after being expelled in 2011.

USF have med school? I would think med or law school to be ranked so high
USF is AAU. UAB has a med school.
