Jim Baron, Sr. dismisses leading scorer Jamal Wilson (16.4 ppg), while 2nd leading scorer Nikola Malesevic (13.4 ppg and team-leading 3-pt shooter) goes down with injury prior to the big annual rivalry game with Providence.

Against PC on Friday in the Ryan Center, the Rhody Rams lost to the Friars 80-61. And the debuts of Billy Baron (UVa) and Andre Malone (Auburn) not exactly encouraging. Baron finished with 3 points (0-7 FG, 0-3 3PT, 3-4 FT), while Malone bested him with 4 points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3PT, 2-2 FT).

I don’t see the problem. To me they just started their annual late season slide earlier. Much earlier.
