Yes on Shepherd. We turn it over so much just trying to dribble.

AND ON THE OTHER HANDâŚIâd have had us turn it up 180% defense and shoot within 5.5 seconds after possession exchanges. Sanchez won.
Good fight back to get that win. They were making a lot of contested shots but the team kept at it and eventually took the lead. Big plays by all down the stretch.
Young finally hit some shots but missed all his 3s. Hopefully he gets going on Saturday.
Vasic 3-3 6pts. Played very well in his minutes. Was not trigger happy with the 3 and didnât even make an attempt. Even passed up an open look.
The cross court passes through the lane need to stop. There were 2+ today. Go over the top or donât go at all.

Didnât see this until today but one of UTEPâs key reserves - SG Kaden Archie - had been suspended for the Charlotte and ODU games and didnât make the trip. In addition, usual starting PG Nigel Hawkins was benched for having gotten a technical in previous game and only saw 7 minutes of action last night. And PF Bryson Williams seemed to have gone into âauditionâ mode for the NBA scouts in attendance with all those 3s he was inexplicably jacking up!
Anyway, whatâs usually a 9-10 player rotation for Miners was basically 6 vs us. Knew UTEP was having some issues earlier this season but apparently still dealing with them. Wonât be surprised to see multiple player defections.
