I ordered 4 tickets to the Wake game in one of the sections Charlotte fans have been getting tickets on StubHub. The only problem is that my brother had the same idea I did and ordered 4 as well . Basically, we have 4 extra in a section (235) that will have plenty of Charlotte fans. I would like to sell these to fellow Niners so that we can keep our numbers up in these sections.
Including shipping and handling fees, the total cost was $159 (I have a copy of the receipt that I would be happy to show anyone with questions). Others who have ordered tickets through StubHub can confirm that the price is accurate. Because you can get $10 off using a code listed on an earlier post on StubHub, I would rather sell these tickets for $149 to other Charlotte fans.
If you have any questions or are interested in the tickets, please call (704) 575-8632. Thanks and go Niners!

They are in row V, near the aisle. I’m pretty sure they are seats 5-8. I’m hoping to sell all 4 to one person, but if not I would sell 2 for $75. Maybe someone else would be interested in 2 as well.
Again, not trying to make anything off these; just hoping to sell them to fellow Niners. Thanks.

Gator, what kind of site is this?
That’s actually pretty steep. Wake sells the tickets in that section for almost nothing for promotional purposes (235 row V is way upstairs in the corner).
I went to 5 or 6 Wake games last year and never payed over $5 a ticket, and those games were major games (although a ticket was given to me for the Duke and Maryland game).
I find it ironic that Wake is announcing all games are sold out but we can still order tickets.
It’s legit. They sell tickets to all kinds of events. After the game sold out, I went to StubHub to try and find tickets. They had some, but unfortunately my brother got some tickets through them as well. Here is a link.
Gator, you should be able to sell those tickets at a Niner game. Just take the Wake tickets with you to the Niner games and see who wants to buy them.
Over, I believe it’s a licensed (legal) ticket brokerage site.
It is legit (stubhub.com)…i got my tickets last week in the mail…yeah they were steep, section 236 rows U and V face value is $11 on these tickets (paid $38/each…but i talked to the ticket office at wake and they said all their tickets had been sold through season tixs and THEY would not be selling any to the public…it appears some of these tickets brokers/scalpers have bought up these…if your looking for just a couple you could probably do good going through ebay or getting tickets on game day…but if you need to get a group together it’s not a bad option…but like others have said, its all about piece of mind on knowing you’ll have a ticket…
Nick…i think the alumni association should do a tailgate???
on ebay there are two tickets about to finish in less than 90 mins for 36 bucks plus SH. I am not sure if a charlotte fan is buying them or not. Every ticket you dont buy, a wake fan gets.
I paid $34 apiece for 4. They came and were $11 each face value + handling/service charges. OUCH! What a rip! Why weren’t these tix available to the general public first? Pure BS!
The scalpers can easily pay for season tix off of the big ACC games Wake has. Everything else is gravy. How come the scalping laws do not apply to these websites?

Taxation/Licenses/Fees. I’m sure the state puts them through the works.
Most of the domestic businesses of these sites are either officially in NV or in a state where overselling to a certain percentage is allowed. So NC law doesn’t apply to these sites. Word to you guys, though, that the NC law on scalping DOES apply if the tickets are resold at the arena. Make sure the LE doesn’t see the transaction, as it doesn’t matter what you paid, the scalping law applies to face value of the ticket.
i am getting 2nd or 3rd row seats for this game. I’ll be in the wake alumni section decked out in niner green. If you don’t see me. You’ll probably more than likely hear me.
