You know that we will play better on Wed. People thought that we would play horrible vs. Cincy because of how we played when we went there. We will play awesome on Wednesday. Have faith!

IF WE PLAYED LIKE WE DID TONITE, ITS GOING TO BE A LONG NIGHT ON WEDNESDAY :(
It was Saint Louisā¦most teams play terrible against them. When you can score over 70 against the Billikens, youāve had a pretty darn good night actually. Considering we had never won there, Iāll ecstatic over the win and I donāt care how ugly it was or how poorly some of our guys played. It will be a different story on Wednesday because I expect us to play more like we did in the 2nd half against Houston.
UNC/Virginia is our only real competition, Bobblehead night, 2 for 1 night and two top 30 teams playing for first place in the conference. If we do not sell out this game, we may never sell Halton out again.
I think the outcome of this one lies with the fans. We have a large, electric crowd, we win. We have dead crowd and the players will play dead.
With all respect to Jarvis Lang, this game is more important than a bobblehead. All you locals (students and Charlotte area ticket holders) please talk this game up. We need this to be an āeventā night.

Saint Louis is awful, and it doesn't seem like a team that's borderline top 25 should be that excited about beating them, especially by only a couple of points. But as bad as Saint Louis is, they've got a tough place to play, even when only a handful of people are there. Same with ECU. This year, Cincy only won by 5 at ECU after being up by 20 in the second half, and I think we all remember how the Niners fared there.
With Saint Louis though, their only blowout loss this season was 75-45 at Gonzaga. Last year, Louisville somehow beat them 75-48 at the Savvis Center, but also last year, Arizona only beat them by one there, DePaul only won by 2, the Niners lost by one (with only 45 points), and Marquette lost by 4. DePaul escaped from Saint Louis with a 56-53 win just a week ago. The last time a team scored 83 or more points against Saint Louis was December 3, 2002, when Arizona killed them, 91-58 in Tucson. Iām annoyed that the game went into overtime, but Iām honestly impressed with the offensive effort the team had, and Iām really impressed that they actually managed to finally pull out a win at the Savvis Center.
I know that DePaul is a game that can be lost, but I know that itās also a game that can be won just as easily. Putting up 83 points against Saint Louis, including 70 in regulation, and finally winning there is huge. No matter how good any of the Charlotte teams of the C-USA era have been, none had managed to pull that off until last night. This team can be something special, as Curtis showed last night. Iām much more excited for Wednesday right now than I am worried.

I donāt know how long you have been following college basketball or the Niners, but a win on the road in cusa is always a good win.
Conference play is all about taking care of home court and stealing some on the road. St. Louis is down this year but they are still capable of beating anyone in the conference on any given night.

Weāre waiting until the polls come out Monday so we can add a nice #__ in front of our name(hopefully), but we will be out sometime posting these. The problem is we need permission to post inside of dorms(everything posted has to get stamped otherwise it will get torn down). Maybe talking to somebody in the ticket office to get some official school backing will be enough to get permission to be put up in the dorms.
Anybody living in dorms who could print out a few(it looks fine on low quality black & white, wonāt use up much ink) and post them, it would be really helpful.
did anyone hear the tv guy(jags) say that a lot of niner fans would be at the bobcats game Wednesday, to see rodney white play :o . Was he joking? Any niners fans that are at the bobcats game wednesday night should have their ass kicked!
even our own tv guys donāt promote the program but promote the nba instead. what a joke
