I just happened to click on the NNN link for the “49er Pride Rewards” website and rec’d a message that said…
Website Disabled.
Has this program gone bye-bye? Maybe I missed the memo, so I’m the last to find out.
Last offseason the site was still up with the previous season info until the new data was available. or PERHAPS, we have something bigger & better for the coming season?
I hope the baseball jersey giveaway didn’t break the bank on this program.
I never got my hat from last season. They were out at the next-to-last home game, so then I called and someone was supposed to mail it to me. Still have yet to see it.

I’ve heard that’s exactly the case. And apparantly there are boxes of those baseball jerseys sitting in the athletic office, so lots of people haven’t gotten their jersey yet, me being one of them. I’ve heard the Rewards Program is a no-go this year.

If that is the case, I don’t blame them for moving on to something else.
Its too bad because it was (is?) a good idea. However, too much unclaimed product is not worth the investment.
On the plus side, maybe they will toss those jerseys into the crowd after 3 pointers, instead of chick-fil-a cows this season.
I loved nothign more than getting my Charlotte shirt every year… I love adding to my collection…
I can see with the jerseys though… thats rough! I wish tehy’d return but keep it simple with the shirts, bags and hats. Everyone loved that stuff and I see ppl randomly wearing that stuff around all the time. I think its good for getting hte brand out there more… which we know despirately needs to happen

I've heard that they won't sell the green/white 49 hats because it's supposed to be something unique for people who won them, so I doubt they'd throw away the grand prize from last year into the stands.
I also think it stinks if this program is gone. I doubt I’d have driven up for the winter/Christmas games otherwise.

I seriously doubt they would toss baseball jerseys in the crowd. However, it was a nice motivation to make sure I attended every game.
The hat, while unique, needed to say something more than “49” on it. I think we already had this discussion somewhere, but IMO they could have make a unique hat for season ticket holders with a real Charlotte 49ers logo on it somewhere.
Gimme another t-shirt or a bag …YAWN. Its just going to my kids.
A nice hat or something special like the jersey is all mine.

I’m curious how much the shirts cost in comparison to buying a bunch of basketballs and just having the whole team sign them and give that away as the grand prize. I think a signed basketball would’ve been pretty cool.
This was definitely one of the coolest things the AD has done since I’ve been here and I’ll be sad if it’s done for this year.
You’re going to be sad, the program is unfortunately over. Not sure what, if anything, will replace it.
