Well, closing in on another season down.

It’s sad that the season is coming to an end, but I don’t know if we’ll miss the outgoing players as much as in other years. Losing Withers was tough. Losing Basden was tough. Losing Jobey was tough.

I just don’t see it this year.

I won’t miss anyone.

I will miss Drayton the most from this year’s squad, followed by Alexander and Jamison. Still, I like all of our players (with the possible exception of a certain junior guard and his initials are not LG). What I hate about all our graduating JUCOs is that it basically took them a season and a half to really contribute and now they’re gone.

true, I forgot about Drayton. I wish we could have him back for one more year. Imagine our year without him.

What a horrible game, the 2nd half the 49ers looked lost and no offense. Nobody on this team can drive to the basket, everone stands around…

What a joke, missed about half the FT’s and some bad fouls.

Oh well, till next year!

Guess its nice to know that some things are very predictable with Niners basketball.

Kinda feel sorry for those that invested money in going to AC, but I guess, compared to other conference tourneys or games at Halton, they at least had the allure of losing money in the casino.

I will miss EJ and JJ but can’t say I’ll lose sleep over anyone else, including DA who I’m actually glad to see go. Big part of our offense but just too selfish, IMO.

Losing EJ/JJ will be huge for us. We lose a TON of rebounding with those guys.

I will miss EJ, despite his horrid FT shooting today. He really stepped up this year. I wish he would have made grades so we could have had him 4 years like he wanted.

The rest of the guys played hard, but it’s now obvious what our assistant turnover and conference uncertainty did to our recruiting the past few years. We took it on the talent level chin and the result was this season and aspects of last season.

We have to get some players. Hopefully the new guys pan out.

Now I know where all the Fire Lutz supporters are coming from… After watching the game today I can see why they are saying this.

I don’t think he will go this year, but he is starting to skate on thin ice. He will have a lot of rebuilding to do, hopefully he can develop the young guys. Because we know the JUCO’s isn’t working!

You know DA is someone I will not miss, considering how good he should have been and how flat he has been at times this season.

Someone I wish we could miss next season is Carlos Williams b/c he has just been a terrible player all year. I just don’t what he can contribute to this team except for terrible offensive decisions and bad defense.

To be totally honest I am just glad this horrible season is over and maybe we can rebound next year.

No it is not. It’s a blessing, really.

I will miss EJ and JJ but can't say I'll lose sleep over anyone else, including DA who I'm actually glad to see go. Big part of our offense but just too selfish, IMO.

I’m with you here. He just doesn’t seem to be a good decision maker. I’ll miss Coleman more than DA.

Losing EJ/JJ will be huge for us. We lose a TON of rebounding with those guys.

I’m not sure it will be that huge. EJ’s Free Throw Shooting absolutely kills. And JJ doesn’t have a good shot. I’ll miss their heart, but their exit should be softened by the entrance of some real big men. I still think Dewhurst will be a better player than Jamison come next year.

I will look forward to seeing Goldwire next year, he has played very well this season.

Ian and Booker are two players who I think will contribute and be big parts of this team next year and in the future.

But I am afraid they will have a very young team with no depth, especially in the front court next year…

But it might be fun to watch a young team grow and hopefully Lutz can figure out an Offense that the young players can play in and team some D for once.

agh.

So is this officially another "season we do not speak of??

Someone I wish we could miss next season is Carlos Williams b/c he has just been a terrible player all year. I just don't what he can contribute to this team except for terrible offensive decisions and bad defense.

He better pull a head out of hindquarters maneuver over the summer, that’s for sure. I think he should be tested for ADD, though, because he seems to stop paying attention or be careless with the ball.

Good news is you will only see him for a month and a half of games before Gerrity finally gets here.

The biggest dissapointment to me this season has been Carlos!!! In this game, he had 5 fouls , one point , and ? turnovers. And he WAS the best point guard we have ever recruited and landed according to our coaches preseason?

Dangit! When a team has players that aren’t getting it done, the COACHING needs to step up!

im glad we’re getting some fresh new guys and attitudes in here…hopefully we will get to see these players grow into a solid team over the next few years. for now, im full of hope, and im ready to let go of this season…there’s nothing left but to be full of hope because if nothing else, it doesnt get any worse than this season.

i won’t miss lutz next year.
